ABD Coaching Programs

Coaching Consultations:
Good for general fitness and/or specific event training: a century, an extended bike trip or your first race.

  • One hour meeting to determine goals, strengths, weaknesses and time available for training. 
  • After the meeting an ABD coach will construct a fully customized training plan for two (2) to six (6) months and schedule a follow-up phone call to confirm that the athlete understands the plan and specific workouts.
  • $75/month for two to six months  [$150 to $450]

Level 1 Coaching: 
All access coaching
  • Initial meeting to determine goals, strengths, weaknesses and time available for training. 
  • A "Floor Fit" to help spot any biomechanical errors and adjust as necessary.
  • An initial 8-week training plan and a follow-up phone call to insure that the athlete understands the plan and specific workouts. Training plans follow every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the training phase.
  • Weekly review of training logs and workouts. (Using the FREE GoogleDocs web application your coach has full access to your logs and receives daily updates with your notes.)
  • Unlimited e-mails, texts, IM's, etc. with your coach to answer any questions, prepare for race day, or to make adjustments to the schedule and workouts due to time restraints, travel, injury, illness, etc.
  • Monthly meeting, videoconference or phone call between coach and athlete to discuss training race preparation, courses, tactics, strategy.
  • $150/month


Level 2 Coaching:
All access coaching PLUS daily power analysis (requires PowerTap, SRM or other power-measuring device).
  • Initial meeting to determine goals, strengths, weaknesses and time available for training. . 
  • A "Floor Fit" to help spot any biomechanical errors and adjust as necessary.
  • An initial 8-week training plan and a follow-up phone call to insure that the athlete understands the plan and specific workouts. Training plans follow every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the training phase.
  • Unlimited e-mails, texts, IM's, etc. with your coach to answer any questions, prepare for race day, or to make adjustments to the schedule and workouts due to time restraints, travel, injury, illness, etc.
  • Monthly meeting, videoconference or phone call between coach and athlete to discuss training race preparation, courses, tactics, strategy.
  • Daily review and power analysis of all workouts with TrainingPeaks® and TrainingPeaks® WKO+ software.
  • $225/month

Level 3 Coaching:
All access coaching, daily power analysis and a minimum of two workouts with your coach every month. (Availability of Level 3 coaching is subject to geographic limitations)
  • Initial meeting to determine goals, strengths, weaknesses and time available for training.
  • A "Floor Fit" to help spot any biomechanical errors and adjust as necessary.
  • An initial 8-week training plan and a follow-up phone call to insure that the athlete understands the plan and specific workouts. Training plans follow every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the training phase.
  • Unlimited e-mails, texts, IM's, etc. with your coach to answer any questions, prepare for race day, or to make adjustments to the schedule and workouts due to time restraints, travel, injury, illness, etc.
  • Monthly meeting, videoconference or phone call between coach and athlete to discuss training race preparation, courses, tactics, strategy.
  • Daily review and power analysis of all workouts with TrainingPeaks® and TrainingPeaks® WKO+ software.
  • Minimum of two training rides per month with your coach (either a one-on-one or group ride depending on the workout)
  • $375/month
