The ABD Monday Night Recovery Rides have officially started. The ride meets at Prairie Path Cycles-Winfield at 6:15pm, is about 25 miles long and averages between 16mph to 18mph. The ride is designed for "newbies" to become comfortable riding safely in a group and also for the racers to get a nice easy spin after a weekend of racing. This is a NON-COMPETITIVE RIDE, so check your egos at the door. This is all about a friendly, safe spin with good people.

May 1, 2008 – 6:40 am
ABD's revamped Cat 3 Men's program took two second places this past weekend as the squad went civil and split into their "North" and "South" divisions. The North brigade tackled the Whitnall Park Criterium and a strong team effort by riders Jay Corgiat and Ben DeMong helped Tim Keeley to second in the field sprint. To the South riders Ron Bridal and Gabe Looker fended off the big St. Louis squads to narrowly miss the "W" in a close field sprint. Check out the pics below as Gabe sprints for the line. Ron leading Gabe through the field. Gabe sprints for second.

Great Dane Crit #2: ABD/GEARGRINDER Scores Another Win

April 21, 2008 – 5:45 pm
After Rob White took the two Kenosha crits last month, he was kind enough to let twin brother Ryan White take the "W" on a day when they both had lapped the field in a 9-man group. Going into the final turn Ryan was set-up to lead Rob out, but as Rob knew the riders behind him were setting up to jump, he backed off just enough to let Ryan's gap open up through the last turn so that he could power it home. Next up, the White brothers reunite with Josh Carter at the Athens Twilight Criterium and USA Crit Series.
